CIRCULAR 7/2007:  MDB RESOLUTIONS ON THE RE-DETERMINATION OF MUNICIPAL BOUNDARIES
 
Since the last local government elections, held on 1 March 2006, the Board has informed stakeholders on an ongoing basis that the re-determination of municipal boundaries and the future of district management areas need to be finalised during 2007/beginning of 2008. The programme, providing for the process to prepare for the next local elections in 2011, was attached to previous circulars.
 
At its last meeting on 6 December 2007, the Board considered all outstanding matters. The decisions of the Board are attached for your information.
