NOTICE OF AUTHORIZATION
IN TERMS OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
ASSESSMENT REGULATIONS, 2006
Notice is given that, in terms of regulation no. R385 published in the
Government Notice no. 28753 of 21 April 2006 of the National
Environment Management Act, 1998 (Act No. 107 of 1998) the Gauteng
Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has granted
Authorization for JR 209 Investments (Pty) Ltd to continue with the
proposed development.
Name of project: K220 EAST (between the R21 Freeway and the P56-1)
Reference: Gaut 002/08-09/N0375
Project description: Planning and construction of a road between the R21 Freeway and the P56-1.
Property description: Portions 19, 16, 2 and 17 of the farm
Sterkfontein 401 JR; Portions 7, 8, 3, 21, 12, 13, 35, 19, 15, 18, 16,
17, 22, 1, 30, 31 and 29 of the farm Witkoppies 393 JR; Remainder and
Portion 5 of the farm Grootfontein 394 JR.
Location: The Development is situated in the Gauteng Province, between the R21 Freeway and the P56-1.

The notice of intention to appeal must be lodged no later than 20 September 2010.
